Nicole Mallatt has been missing for over a week now, and even after an exhaustive search yesterday, investigators are somewhat at an impasse.
No calls, texts or other communication from Nicole since she disappeared early last week, leaving behind her children, friends and family, who said it was quite uncharacteristic of her to miss a holiday at home.
A special case squad continues to look for clues near Nyhart, southwest of Butler as a clothing article possibly belonging to Nicole was found. While divers search a local body of water, a team is combing some 240 acres of adjacent land.
While she was last seen with her ex-husband, Bates County Sheriff Chad Anderson has indicated that foul play is not suspected at this time; however someone knows something about this case and if there's a chance they are reading this article, please contact the sheriff's office at 660-679-3232.
