Cynthia Ann Hopkins, lovingly known as "Cyndi," passed away peacefully on January 12, 2025. Born in Denver, Colorado, to Jonathan and Robin McKillop, Cyndi was the second oldest of five children. Her life was defined by her unwavering faith, devotion to family, and passion for spreading love and joy to those around her.
Cyndi’s faith was central to her life. She found great purpose and fulfillment in nurturing her relationship with the Lord and sharing His love with everyone she met. She proudly and openly acknowledged her faith, leaving a legacy of compassion, kindness, and devotion.
One of her greatest joys in life was being a "Mimi" to her beloved grandchildren: Kaiston, Remington, and Stella. She cherished every moment spent with them and took immense pride in their lives and accomplishments. Her love for her family was boundless.
Cyndi was a radiant soul who had a remarkable gift for making friends with everyone she met. Her outgoing nature was magnetic, drawing people in with her warmth, kindness, and genuine interest in others. To know Cyndi was to feel seen and valued, and she left a lasting impression on every heart she touched.
She had a unique talent for capturing life’s most precious moments, dedicating herself to documenting the laughter, joy, and beauty of every gathering. Thanks to her, countless cherished moments, including photographs and videos, are now forever preserved, bringing smiles and comfort to those who love her.
Cyndi’s vibrant spirit and her ability to connect with others turned ordinary days into extraordinary memories. She was a compassionate soul and an unwavering animal lover, opening her heart and home to anyone in need. Her big heart knew no limits, and her dedication extended throughout her lifetime. Cyndi is survived by her children, Kayleigh (Austin) Ludwig and Presley McKillop; her adored grandchildren, Kaiston Ludwig, Remington, and Stella Honeycutt; her mother, Robin McKillop; and her siblings, Lindsay, Jonathan, Ricky, and Cory McKillop.
She is preceded in death by her father, Jonathan McKillop; her uncle, John (Terry) Pelkey; and her nephew, Hunter McKillop.
A celebration of Cyndi’s life will be held in Broken Arrow, OK, in July 2025
